Biography
Award winning Director with over 20 years' experience for TV docs, TV commercials and feature-docs for cinema release. From age 16 Paul spent 6 years in nuclear engineering, whilst also spending nights and weekends in the music industry and dabbling with scripted comedy.
He was picked up by Granada TV as a director for a series on local politics and also worked with Basement Video on public performance art pieces and live gigs.
Currently, Paul works freelance as an Executive Producer and, occasionally, as a Director.
In July 2017 he made his first TV commercial, for West Ham United. He has had three documentaries win awards at film festivals; The Limbless Mountaineer, The Lady Who Flew Africa: The Aviatrix and in 2017 the West Ham United feature-doc Iron Men.
He directed BBC Four’s hit series, “Timothy Spall: Somewhere at Sea” which was nominated for a BAFTA and short-listed for a Grierson Award. He has excellent relationships wit
